Since 2022, he has been running a secondhand bookstore called Bookseller in Daegu. His name, Ho Jae, means "good material" in its literal Chinese-character sense. Rather than putting literature forward to present himself, he wanted to become good material for literature. He seeks out and introduces the true value of old books hidden behind the label "secondhand."
